Naturally Grantaire fears the worst, but after he sees the alpha his feelings soon turn from disgust to absolute awe.

Summary
Enjolras is usually pretty confident in many things: giving speeches, actively participating in class, playing cello, his sexuality... the list goes on. It's just a little unfortunate that his section leader is the only thing that makes him feel the slightest bit panicked.
What is fortunate, however, is that Grantaire is one of the nicest people that he's ever had the pleasure of meeting. It doesn't hurt that he's ridiculously good at playing his instrument either.

Grantaire was silent for a moment.
Two moments.
Then, he shifted himself under Éponine’s weight and turned, tugging her into his chest for a full frontal hug.
“Let’s not talk about either of them, okay?” he murmured into her hair. “Wanna watch something dumb?”
Éponine chuckled. When she pulled away from him, her eyes and mouth were smiling.
